Sightseeing in Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. The Swayambhunath Stupa was built on top of Swayambhunath hill. Three hundred steps lead to the top of the stupa.

Sightseeing in Dakshinkali, Sheshnarayan and Kirtipur. The Dakshinkali Temple is dedicated to Kali, the fearful form of Lord Siva’s consort, Parvati. The main deity in the temple is the black stone, six-armed form of Kali, standing on a prostrated figure. Dakshinkali is at the south end of the valley between two hills and at the confluence of two rivers.

Sightseeing in Budhanilkantha, Pashupatinath and Patan. Budhanilkantha is about 8km northeast of Kathmandu and 15km from Thamel, at the base of Shivapuri hill.
